To ensure that only registered users can access Rippey AI APIs and their data, an authentication system has been implemented that requires users to have both **name **and **secret**:

- The** name** is your identifier.
- The **secret** is your private key, similar to a password.

The name and the secret combination will identify and authorizes users to use our services.

## Name

The API Key is your unique ID. You need an API Key to authenticate and grant yourself access to make requests on all of our API endpoints. 

## Secret

A secret or password is another requirement you need, and you will be using the same password as the one you use to create your business account.
